I'm new to deviantART, but I'm not new to art itself.

I think that artistic ability is something that one is born with. It cannot be learned, but is instead cultivated.

This is not to say that I believe that I am artistic in any stretch of the imagination, but I always try to find art and beauty in everything.

I am a daydreamer, one who spends countless hours staring off into space... trying to see what can be.
When you daydream as much as I do, you start to notice all the subtleties; all the while ignoring the big picture.
Just try it one day. When you're standing outside (I prefer cool fall or winter days - especially snowy ones) underneath some trees, just look up into the sky and spin a little (not too fast, dizziness isn't equatable to whimsy), take in your surroundings, and dream up a story. People will think you're crazy, but oh well. They don't exist in your dream world.
